Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland arrives

This ballet, based on Lewis Carroll’s characters from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass tells the coming of age story of Alice who, at 17 years old, embarks on an adventure that commences with the refusal of a marriage proposition, a tumble down a rabbit hole, and the defiance of the Jabberwock . This unique tale, interpreted and directed by Yelena Holt, staged by eight choreographers from across California, performed by dancers of all ages, and bringing to life characters out of Carroll’s novels through songs from past and present centuries, will lead its audiences on an adventure filled with beauty, humor, and imagination.
